Our targets include Rx to OTC switch molecules, ANDA & Monograph OTC products in various dosage forms / formats solids (tablets, capsules, soft gels), liquids, semi solids & nasal sprays. Our FDA approved manufacturing sites are located in USA & India.

Job Overview

This is a remote position, preferably located in the Chicago area and responsible for managing all day-to-day sales, maintenance, and other related activities primarily for Walgreens and Kroger. Including but not limited to managing all customer specific portals (Stibo, Supplier Net, Ariba, Trace Gains, Supplier Hub...), item set up, communication between customer and internal teams, as well as being responsible for providing any requested reports and analytics.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales goals utilizing effective selling techniques and marketing strategies to create and expand demand for all marketed products.
  • Maintain a productive and compliant working relationship with our customers by building relationships at multiple levels with the customer.
  • Develop strategically targeted account-specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local market.
  • Assist cross-functional teams to develop long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders within the consumer health community.
  • Demonstrate strong strategic, analytical, and overall business acumen to ensure the appropriate focus is placed in the right areas of the market.
  • Comply with all FDA, Pharma, and Corporate Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
  • Complete expense reports and other required administrative reports in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Attend training programs, conventions, trade shows, and customer specific meetings as required.
  • Focus on the end results of the sales process, demonstrating personal accountability, a sense of urgency, and commitment to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor weekly orders, and work with customer processing team with order placements and notification of order cuts if required.
  • Maintain all customer portals and product information and specifications.
  • Be the communication conduit between the customer and the operations/supply chain team.
  • Routinely monitor all key metrics measuring company performance with the customer.
  • Proven track record for delivering consistent sales.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, cross-functional environment while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit, on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to develop and grow strong professional relationships.
  • Knowledge and experience of legal and compliance framework related to the pharma industry.
  • Travel to the customer headquarters on an as needed basis is required, along with occasional travel (estimated at Quarterly) to the company headquarters in New Jersey

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements

The incumbent is responsible for the product sales with designated accounts. The role is also responsible for the ownership, coordination, and execution of strategic business plans for key accounts based on market dynamics and business analytics. Responsibilities will include sales of specified OTC products, analytics, and sales administration including managing all portals.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, min of 5 years of sales, sales management and/or account management experience in the industry, preferably with OTC/consumer health experience. Combination of both experience and college can be considered.
  • Current relationships at Walgreens a plus.

Physical Requirements

SALES POSITION – While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: • Work in a temperature controlled office environment or travel via vehicle or commercial transportation • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and walk during the course of employment • Position requires some degree of travel for business purposes • Employee may use computer, phone, copier and other office equipment in the course of a day • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and an ability to adjust focus Sedentary work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
